World Regtech Summit 2020
World RegTech Summit 2020 co-organised by LITE Lab@HKU (5-6 November 2020)
The second World RegTech Summit took place virtually on 5-6 November 2020, bringing together regtech professionals and innovators from Hong Kong and around the globe. The Summit was held in conjunction with Hong Kong FinTech Week 2020, and increased the number of panels from 2019 to cover areas including AI and governance, digital identity, regulatory innovation and more.
Mr. Brian Tang, the founding executive director of LITE Lab @ HKU, served as the Chair of the Organising Committee at the Summit. Taisy Chan, a student in the 2020 fall semester cohort for LITE Lab @ HKU, also contributed as the Vice Chair of the Organising Committee.Â
Brian Tang spoke on AI & Governance in Finance while Professor Douglas Arner spoke on tech against financial crime.
