They started their company initially as they realised that there was a severe lack of smart case management systems in the legal sector. Current case banks are both complicated and expensive. This leads to a significant time cost for lawyers in searching for relevant cases, and also hampered access to justice by increasing intransparency of judgments. Their goal as a company is to address this need, by automating large-scale information extraction, in order to minimise manpower required and replace the current system of manual extraction and sifting.
