Law, Innovation, Technology & Entrepreneurship Lab at University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law (LITE Lab@HKU)
It is hoped that legal practitioners and allied professionals, with the support of their leaders, would be inspired by this Cookbook project to re-create and experiment to create their own impactful solutions as "humans-working-in-the-loop" starting with the "tools at hand" and progress from AI literacy to AI fluency to better serve and maintain the trust of our clients and society.
- Brian W. Tang, Founding executive director of LITE Lab@HKU and Co-chair of ALITA, who was recently named one of the inaugural FT Law 50 as an "AI Enabler".
The most impactful AI solutions are often created by those who best understand their profession. By bringing together perspectives from law firms and corporate legal and compliance departments, we hope this Cookbook will inspire legal and allied professionals to experiment, innovate, and develop their own GenAI solutions to transform the way legal work is delivered.
- Marlon Fetzner, Head of Legal Affairs for Microsoft Asia
I believe the publication will provide legal professionals with practical guidance and inspiration as they explore the use of AI in legal practice, while continuing to uphold professional responsibilities and standards.
- Roden Tong, President of The Law Society of Hong Kong
